40 Acres is the people's dream.

We are a business organization based in Winnipeg, Canada. Our primary aim is to promote Sierra Leone culture in music, entertainment and fashion to the outside world.

We locate and promote young and aspiring Sierra Leonean singers, dancers, musicians, actors/actresses, models and performing artists, etc.

40 Acres Fashion is a unique and complementary partnership of 40 Acres Productions. The store is located downtown, Winnipeg and we are one of the few retailers of Parasuco, Evisu, True Religion, Ed Hardy, Fetish, Rocawear, Apple Bottoms, Dereon, Sean John and Baby Phat, etc. apparels in Canada.

The single-minded focus of 40 Acres has allowed us to pioneer a range of products and services that have changed the entertainment and fashion  landscape. We have created a new model for on-line and in-store fashion, melding people and technology to provide an integrated "high tech" and "high touch" fashion-forward line for modern men and women who desire designs that compliment their features and represent their very grace and beauty.

40 Acres has a string of proven record of innovating and pioneering  new ideas in the Canadian entertainment and fashion circles, and we have quickly become the yardstick against which other organizations/people are measured.

The key to our success lies with the talent and passion of an incredibly dedicated team:

Samuel James-Decker, Jr. is a product of  the Albert Academy Secondary School in Freetown, Sierra Leone. From there, he attended the National Power Authority (NPA) Institute majoring in mechanical engineering before immigrating to Canada. Sammy Jr. was also a founding member of the Optimistic Social Club in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Optimistic, back in the day, had involved in the promotion of music and entertainment across the country. A family man with a cute little guy called Quinton "Quinny the Pooh" and a beautiful girlfriend Miriam "Mimi." Sniper (as some of his closest allied call him) has moved on leaving behind some mistakes he had made in the past. Sammy Jr. is very interested in sports (especially soccer) and politics. He talk fervently about his passion for scrabble.  A very friendly, sociable, out-going and ambitious person, he's onboard the team with some classic difference.

Biggie Smalls:Every single person Call him "Biggie Smalls". He's virtully new in the entertainment business, but Biggie Smalls is the enterprenuer and business strategist in the production team. Very brilliant and exceptionally smart, Biggie Smalls talks about politics fervently and his aspiration for the highest office in Sierra Leone. He holds a diploma in Business Administration from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone.He is the management consultant and is currently enrolled at the University of Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Canada. He will be majoring in Business Administration.

Lans Omar: Nicknamed "The Golden Child," Omar was born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He moved to Canada in 1999. Omar has been in show business and fashion for over two decades across three continents.
His resume still highlighs him as the innovator and producer of the controvercial "Miss Sierra Leone beauty pageant (The Gambia) 1998".
By profession, The Golden Child is an accountant, a graduate from CDI Business College in Winnipeg, Canada.
Renowned BBC broadcaster, Hylton  Fyle, once described Omar on national TV as: "people have consider his thinking as very futuristic and at least ten years ahead of our time and he's a lot of things to a lot of people".
As a reporter for the renowned Concord Times newspaper, Omar has interviewed famous celebrities including Nigerian actress Liz Benson, Grammy winner Salif Keita, Kora Awards winner Shaka Bundu, Neneh Cherry, David Vandy, M.B Attilla, Kanda Bongoman and Baba Maal, etc.
He's married to Vivian Omar (Pretty Woman) with two beautiful kids: Lans Jr. and Neneh Maryam.
At home in his quite time, "The Golden Child" researches the major religions of the world and he talks fervently about the welfare of the dead, resurrection and, of course, judgement day.

Ibrahim Kamara:Ibrahim currently lives in Edmonton, Canada. He's a layback, respected and respectful person, he admires motivated people and he himself is a motivator. Ibrahim is a very easy going and has been in the industry for a long time. His acting skills go way back from his early days in Sierra Leone. He was one of the leading dramatists in major acting roles in his early days.

 

Mohamed Jalloh aka 2pac: Brings on board a unique talent and creative idea. as a populist, and idealist he has won the deepest affection of people and also won the heart of many sierraleonean. He is sociable individual that get along well with most people. He started showbiz in Freetown over a decade ago. He attended  St. Edwards Secondary School in FreetownSierra Leone, together with Papa Danko, Mohamed Kallon, Babosa etc. 2pac earned his nick name because of his sociable  lifestyle.He Join a co-related social Club called Conwards in the Mid 90's in Freetown. They hosted their first show in June of 1995: The biggest school jam ever under NPRC regime. He took the GCE'O' Level in 1996 coming out with a division two major. Mohamed moved to Conakry, Guinea, before his eventually departure for Canada. In 20003 Mohamed graduate from Winnipeg Technical College with a diploma in Pharmacy Technician. Because of his resemblance with the late Tupac Amaru Shakur, people in the city nicknamed him "2pac", a title he has earned so far. He's is currently enrolled at the University of Winnipeg, majoring in Bio-Psychology. His hobbies include sports (basketball) and dancing. Interested in becoming a contributing member o society in the medical area. Mohamed dating preference would be women that are very out-going,  independent and articulated.

G.Koroma: G.K. as he's fondly called around has been the in the industry for quite some time now and his social resume is seriously tight. He started stage performances at an early age in Freetown, Sierra Leone. With his acting/drama career, he formed Tamemsu Cultural Theatre, which he actually broght to Conankry, Guinea, during the civil war in Sierra Leone. The young and industrious artist is by far one of the industry's most sought after artist. At the debut of the 40 Acres Awards 2006 in Winnipeg, Canada, Koroma took the entire audience by storm with memorable drama performances that is still fresh in the minds of the people. In his free and spare time, he goes to the gym and he's so fond of his son, Gibril, Jr.
